Becky is the owner of Veda Yoga and a current Yoga Ambassador for lululemon athletica’s Shops Around Lenox Location. She has a 200hr Yoga Alliance Certification and since receiving her certification, continues to grow by taking yoga workshops with leaders; Sean Corn, Kathryn Budig, Jason Crandell, Desiree Rumbaugh, David Swenson, Baron Baptiste, and Ana Forrest, inspiring her to explore her practice and teachings in many different ways. Becky has a passion for teaching all levels of students, guiding each one to find their own path.
Yoga finds everyone at different stages of life. For Becky, it was in 2005. She found herself stressed out and distraught. She became rapidly hooked on her regular practice, quickly discovering personal growth in self-discipline, humility, self-acceptance, patience and letting go. By calming her mental chatter, she learned to embrace each practice for what it offered.
"...yoga has impacted my life so much that I could not imagine one day without it, which brings me here, teaching and sharing all the goodness yoga has to offer. To me, yoga is the essence of our being- always flowing, healing, changing and discovering." She truly believes in a raw, centered and more balanced life and found that through the practice of yoga she is able to seek that.
Off the Mat:
Off of her mat Becky enjoys traveling with her hubby, farmers markets, a good book, cooking and making coconut almond butter. The key to her heart is through chai lattes, fresh green juices, and homemade chocolate chip cookies(Gluten-Free of course). Her background in competitive gymnastics and Division I Track and Field still live deep in her heart. Whether it’s doing a road race, a Triathlon, a CrossFit competition, or volunteering her time in local events, she loves immersing herself within the community.
"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You're on your own, and you know what you know. And you are the guy who'll decide where to go."
I am easy going and up for new experiences. By nature I am physically active, enjoy being outdoors, and loves a good healthy challenge My main interests include yoga, live music, and traveling. I like to keep things as simple and natural as possible, some may even consider me to be a purist. Enjoy peanut butter, tasty jams (both music & fruit), and hi top sneakers.
My first exposure to yoga was on a family vacation and involved a class that offered a brief introduction. It was about a year later that I had my first studio experience with yoga and I felt an immediate connection to the practice. I practiced regularly for nearly a year before establishing a daily practice and pursuing teacher training programs. The momentum picked up rapidly and I quickly became consumed by this ancient tradition. My first 200hr certificate was at Atlanta Hot Yoga (Hot & Vinyasa/Flow) while I also have a Level 2/3 Barkan Method certificate as well as a 200hr in Pranakriya. Yoga has shed light on and profoundly impacted numerous aspects of my life. I feel honored to be involved in this community and have the opportunity to share this gift with others.
Off The Mat:
When not on the mat I can be found reading books of various topics, traveling to new corners of the country, and exploring ways to bring fresh experiences into my life. I am naturally a curious explorer who loves adventure.

Off the Mat:
When she is not on the mat she is in her kitchen cooking elaborate vegetarian dishes and decadent desserts or in her garden admiring new growth and wild life. She loves jogging with her two children or sitting by the window above her garden engaged in profound conversations with her husband. Everyday is a blessing and she lives them to their fullest.
